You wait to get pregnant, do the two week wait, wait to check the pregnancy test, wait for the fertility clinic to call you back, wait for those test results, wait to hear more pregnancy news from your friends, wait for it to be your turn, wait for your blood and ultrasound appointment, wait for your period, wait for more cysts, wait for your cycle to be canceled, wait one more day to test, wait to hear a heartbeat, wait for a D&C appointment, wait another month, wait to tell your parents, wait for your friends to leave so you could cry in private.
In the meantime, your weight has increased, you gained weight from the fertility medications, you lost those recommended ten pounds of weight, nosy relatives weigh in on your situation.
You know what? You’ve waited long enough already!

The worse for me is knowing I have to WAIT 21-25 days to ovulate again after my cycle starts. Just seems like an eternity!

I am in my 2ww right now. Phantom symptoms come and go. I hate them. Wouldn't it be convenient if a bell went off in your head the day you got pregnant. Ding ding ding ding!! (like a slot machine win). There would be no more 2ww!!! Yay!

I hear ya sister, I've been told by a family member, "What? You've been married for 4 years? You should have had 3 by now…….." Um ya thanks, no I've just been waiting for my 10th year anniversary to try to get pregnant dumb ass!
You MUST have taken this from my head after the past couple of weeks I've had. Most definitely so. I should copyright my life. I'm sure it wouldn't cost much!
We have waited long enough already! And we are tired of it!
I am 4dpiui and the wait is already killing me. The worst part is RE told me to go for a beta test on Oct 12 which is Thanksgiving (I'm in Canada)… so my day will go something like this: go to RE for test, go to my parents house, wait nervously all day for RE to call all the while my family thinks I'm crazy… and then the call will come. It's either going to be the best or the worst day.
I was reading a magazine in the fertility clinic (while waiting for my first IUI…eek) that talked about this. They said that you could spend every day for a year at the fanciest spa in the world but that won't make PCOS, ENDO or anything else magically "go away". I thought that was a nice way to put it
It also went on about other useless comments from others such as "i know someone who tried for 10 years and it finally happened" or "have you considered adoption?"…
they suggested sending a mass email to friends and family about what to say (and more importantly not to say) and how to understand that if you don't want to go to your best friends baby shower the day after af shows up!
