“Life isn’t about trying to weather the storm, it’s about learning to dance in the rain…….
- …after you find out your husband has to take a business trip during your ovulation cycle.
- …after getting your period during cousin Martha’s wedding.
- …after finding out your best friend is pregnant after one month of trying.
- …after spending $50.00 on negative pregnancy tests.
- …after planning your sister’s baby shower during your IVF egg retrieval.
- …after seeing 40 pregnant women at Wal-Mart.
- …after reading Facebook status updates about how awful pregnancy symptoms are.
- …after staining another pair of underwear because you refused to buy tampons in advance.
So always remember to take an umbrella and look for the rainbow after the storm.
… after hearing for the “nth” time “Im waiting for you to have a baby – whats taking so long?”
After hearing “we are going to start trying for a baby” from your friends and it works for them!..whats family planning anyway?.
After spending all of your savings and maxing out your credit cards on fertility treatments….that haven’t worked….sigh
…after hearing “So we’re pregnant again! We weren’t even trying!” and realizing you’ve been trying for too many years to count.
After realizing your SILs are getting their tubes tied, when you’re still trying for #1.
After learning that your cousin who has 5 daughters in foster care is pregnant yet again…..
Or when your friends calls you to tell you (and seeks comfort) that she just had an abortion. Then proceeds to tell you that she thought about just having the baby and giving it to you, but she “just couldn’t handle the morning sickness.”
